Things that Trump’s Detractors Don’t realize about Trump Supporters

1. We don’t give a shite about his tweets. In fact we enjoy the freakout that they cause. The more you panic and engage in histrionics, the more we feed off of it. Your tears give us strength. It’s like payback for your making fun of us and ignoring us for decades. Whether the freakout ensues from GOPe (especially you assholes), Democrats in general or any sort of political pundit, and movie stars. Karma is great. We’re lucky God is letting us watch.
2. We don’t think he’s infallible, but we like how he comes back from his mistakes. Examples of mistakes and comebacks:
A) signing that omnibus bill with no wall. Comeback - EO with a wall
B) Placing Jeff Sessions as AG. Comeback - my Sexy Unsexy Old Boyfriend, Bill Barr.
3. We don’t believe he’s a racist or a sexist, and the more you try to convince us, the harder we resist. We are so devoted to him because the policies he espouses, not because we identify with racism or discrimination. Trump’s supporters are delighted to finally have a champion. Whether we are white or black; young or old; man or woman; gay or straight. Trump gives a voice to people who this country takes for granted. The makers, not the takers.
For the entirety of the time I’ve been interested in politics - having an “America First” opinion has been shot down as racist. Trump is the first politician in my lifetime - who responds to this criticism with: I know that’s not true about me, and I don’t give a frick what you think.
He’s our champion. And he’s on our side. The crap that man and his family have been willing to endure for his supporters is epic. And that’s why we are so devoted. He didn’t have to do this.

I would add:
4. We use the media as a reverse barometer. If the MSM says that what Trump just did was bad, we know that what Trump just did must be good.

My love of trump is proportional to my bitter hate for DC politics as usual. The more trump tweaks these people I freaking loathe, the more I like him and support him.
DC think tanks have searched for 4 years how to attack trump to separate him from his following. They don’t realize it’s them that we can’t stand and will gladly stand next to a flawed individual who will finally stand up for my beliefs and take down these career snake oil salesmen politicians peddling their brand of communism under the guise of fairness

We also know that his tweet are all tactical. Like someone so eloquently put it, "Trumps twitter account is a laser pointer in his hand and the Democrats are the cat."

This. Let's say Trump disappoints me in some area. What options do I have? Am I going to "show Trump" by becoming a supporter of Kamala Harris or "The Squad"? A bunch of people who by mere definition have falsely portrayed me as Public Enemy #1? While I personally think Trump is doing a GREAT JOB, I also realize that, for me, it's Trump or nobody simply because there isn't anybody else who is for me.
