It's actually my least favorite truck, but I just found out they have a 5 yr 100k mile bumper to bumper warranty. No one else comes close to that. Also noticed some dealers are taking 14k off the sticker. Just looking for an honest review.

Have a titan xd with the diesel that's a little more than a year old. Love it.

Had a regular titan that I got new in 09 and drove it for almost 10 years with minimal problems. I towed a double axle trailer daily with it for 6 of those years. My dad has that truck now at his camp and its still going strong as a woods truck.

Great trucks, they suck gas compared to the other guys though, kind of ironic seeing as it's a Japanese truck.

I have a 2018 SV 4X4. I bought it also because of warranty and price. Got it in may from Hertz Care sales in May with 18k miles. Paid 26k for it. I take it out to the deer camp every week and havent had any problems with it. Gets better gas mileage than my 2011 F150 did.

I had a 2012 or so. I liked the way it dove around town, but I never really pulled anything with it.

Uncle has the diesel he pulls a camper with and bought because it's the only diesel that fit in his garage. He loves it but it's only his second truck and he is 72 so easily impressed. Did i mention they are FUGLY. Nissan has to offer huge discounts and great warranty to get them off the lot. They are the Honda outboard of the truck market.

One of my buddies works at a Nissan dealership and drive the Titan Pro4x. That trim package looks a lot better than the stock Titans do. It will probably be the next truck I get.

I got 5yr/120k mile bumper to bumper including all electronics on my 18 Silverado.

I also got 14k off my Silverado. This was back in last October.

If you are patient, they all go on sale, and you can typically haggle a 5yr warranty.

It could have a 500k mile warranty and I still wouldn’t buy it

Our office has three 2018 Titan XD's and one 2019 Titan XD. Everyone raves about them (compared to the Chevy Silverados they were driving).

I don't think the gas mileage is quite as good as the Chevy's, but for dependability the Titans are head and shoulders above the Silverados.

Every Silverado we own has been in the shop multiple times. One of them had a defective paint job (paint started peeling) on the roof of the cab. Chevrolet refused to handle under warranty because it was 1000 miles beyond the 36,000 mile warranty. All Star Chevrolet wanted $3000 to repaint the cab.

None of the Nissans (including two Pathfinders and one Armada) has ever been in the shop for repairs.

The last Titan XD we bought (two weeks ago) was a 2018 that happened to still be on a dealer's lot in Texas. We bought it for dealer invoice minus $500, and got an additional $9250 in cash rebates (We have a Nissan fleet number, so I'm not sure if the rebates are that big on retail units).

Haven't driven the new ones. Do they still have a turning radius the size of Rosie O'Donnell?

The new titan is somewhat less hideous than the old Titan but it still seems Nissan is purposely making them ugly just to stand out.

The sales figures are unbelievably low and i wonder if Nissan will keep making them much longer.

I recently got a used 2015 because i needed a cheap truck. Turning out to be a good call. 2015 base model with 4x4/crew. Just didn't want to pay for the premium price on a used American truck with over 100k on it. I have slowly turned my family motor pool into a nissan lot. I deal directly with the head mechanic at my local nissan dealership. He's done an engine swap for me on a "project" car so i asked his advice on later car purchases. He said the newest model GAS engines were best bet and to stay away from the Cummins diesels. Some may have good experience but he suggested otherwise. I got the 2015 because it was the last year in that line from 2004 and doesn't have any issues after 10 years of being in service. He also had a 2013 and an earlier model. Said the engine and tranny are bullet proof. So...i'm pretty happy with my 2015. The truck is the hottest selling vehicle format in America and the f150 is highest selling in the world. Nissan just trying to edge in there. Not as sexy as some of the others, but i couldn't justify that F150 price tag (and i wanted one bad).

My father has '18 XD. I dont like it, he's OK with it. The main thing I hate about it is that it feels like driving an 80's 3/4 ton. Vibration, steering, brakingx rattles, fuel mileage, without DEF drives terrible, etc. I think its fairly reliable but he does already have some switches and knobs broken or falling off. It tows well. Overall its OK not great.

ETA: I believe he has 60k on it, taken travel trailer to Portland and back and couple other long trips. No real bad issues.
