Unfortunately not. LBJ Jr. will be Klutch

Ehh
Who? Obvious reason why these guys dropped Rich Paul
Sadly, Clutch with a K is a thing, but frick it, i could not be anymore happier being a pels fan with all this young talent I can watch grow together and win a championship for Nola.

Apparently this is untrue

Bondy: Received clarification that the Marcus Morris-Rich Paul separation was mutual in the wake of his free agency. Also, Noel remains with Klutch.

Mutual my arse. Obviously Paul is trying to save face

You have nothing to base this claim on

Apparently Paul made Morris turn down a 41 million dollar offer from the Clippers
If that doesnt tell guys in the league who's interests Paul has in mind, I dont know what will

I'm assuming 4/41? For him to turn it down in favor of the 2/20 from San Antonio?

So he made Morris turn down a good long term deal on a contender for a 1 year deal from a dumpster fire. All to make the Clippers less attractive to Kawhi. It seems like NBPA union president Chris Paul would want to do something about his best friend’s agency...

Potentially, but it’s not like this is the first time he’s done this same thing. I can’t help but think of Hanlon’s Razor: Never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by incompetence.
Another thing to consider, I’ve heard that RP takes either 0% of the players salary or very little, and instead makes a large % of the endorsements that they sign. I tried to look that up, but couldn’t find anything confirming it, so I don’t know how true that is. But let’s assume that it is how his agent contracts are written, it would make sense that he would tell players to risk losing good offers for a bigger payday because he’s not losing anything. It would also make sense that he would steer guys to big markets so that he can get a bigger more endorsements.
Still, would anyone put that past him to try and help LeBron at the detriment of another client? Either way, he sounds like an absolutely horrible agent

He'd be a moron if that's true because most of his client roster make pocket change in endorsements.

A player the level of Marcus Morris isn't making real money on endorsements if he's in LA, NY, or Bunkie.

I understand that and I agree that it is unlikely, which is why I’ve tried to fact check it. I wouldn’t be surprised if he had some agreement that was just less than normal salary % for a higher than normal endorsement %, that seems possible.
Not trying to start or spread rumors, just spitballing in the offseason

I think the "no commission on contracts" only holds for max guys, who are getting that money with or without RP as their agent.

Rumor says it was 2/41 (on Jalen and Jacoby). If this is true, it doesn't look good for Klutch.

Morris, however, lost out of a much more lucrative contract with the LA Clippers, who were prepared to pay him $41 million over three seasons. A Clippers source said the three-year deal included a provision for Morris to receive 50 percent of his salary on Oct. 1. – via The Athletic
Morris was hoping to earn $40 million over two years but the Clippers couldn’t offer that deal if they wanted to sign Kawhi Leonard to a max contract. Once Morris took that stance, the Clippers moved on and acquired Portland’s Maurice Harkless – via The Athletic

Did Morris make a bad decision on his own or did he make one using bad advice from Rich Paul?
After clusterfricks like KCP having his 4/$80m deal pulled due to Paul’s hardball bullshite, I can see both Morris insisting on more money and Paul telling him the market would give that to him.
