I mean, there's a legitimate discussion on the therapeutic-use exemptions given to some of the top tennis players (and other international athletes). But this isn't exclusive to Serena. Nadal and Kvitova has also been mentioned among that crowd.
And she's one of the most frequently tested players on the tour. So until she has a positive test..

She legit got put on probation for threatening a line judge, and claimed she was mistreated at Wimbledon last year because she was a woman, while obviously playing against another woman.

Has nothing to do with political leaning. I know most on the TD boards fetishize patriotism and she is an American that hasn’t done anything that you guys would call anti-American. I lean right. I’m more curious why there are some that are more happy that she lost than would be upset if she lost. And “she’s trashy” is not an answer.

I agree, it has nothing to do with political leaning, and again, I'm not a Serena hater. But it's not a great mystery why she has rubbed people the wrong way throughout her career.
Doesn't matter if you call it unprofessional, bratty, trashy, or dismiss it all together. Her outbursts are absolutely an answer as to why people root against her. Whether it's rational or not.

I think it’s similar to labron.
She’s a world class athlete from a young age who’s accomplished great feats. However, when they face adversity they typically deflect it by immediately becoming the victim (blame the ref, the race card, etc). This is all on top of being highly suspected of using PEDs

Alot of bait in this thread but I will respond instead of react to the same cliche, triflin, low IQ nonsense that is ubiquitous on message boards these days.
I didn't watch the match. I flicked over from watching the Main Event and happened to catch her post game comments.

It really is convenient that Serena became so unlikable right at the end of her career. Watching her get her arse kicked on the highest profile stages over and over again while she melts down is very entertaining.
