Meh. Who cares what "articles" think Les can run his team how he sees fit

It takes a lot more for Les to boot a good player

What a poorly written article.

Miles has a history of being soft when it comes to punishing his players.

He kicked Tyrann Mathieu out of the program, as well as Ryan Perriloux and left him with essentially ZERO QB's in 2008.

But yes...he didn't kick Jeremy Hill off the team for a fight at a bar...

Still hasn't learned? He kicked the best player (honeybadger) off a team with National championship aspirations. Les has his faults but this isn't one of them.

That's a terrible article - someone with a bone to pick. Assault like that is never excusable but to throw a troubled kid to the curb without even trying to fix the issue. That's even worse. Les won't give him another chance.

BS story. Miles can and will run his team as he see fit. Williams seem to have learned his lesson.

Another silly journalist questioning Les Miles. SMH. His resume is full of correct decisions just like this one.

Yet he kicked Tyrunn and Perrilloux off the team possible costing him 2 NCs. They weren't even arrested. Bunch of BS

Les deserves to be criticized for this. It's really bad.

I do not think it's fair to categorize Les's LSU tenure as being "soft" on discipline. The Jeremy Hill #teamvote thing was overblown, and the rest of his track record was pretty solid.

Anyway, this particular case is really bad and I'm disappointed in how Les handled it.

One of the things I have never understood about college football fans is how hard they want to be on these kids. They want these coaches to go into these kids broken homes. Promise their one parent or grandparent that they will take care of them. Then when these kids who have never had any structure get into trouble the fans want to crucify them.

These coaches have likely promised they would treat them like their own kids. I know a lot of people think this is a business but I am sure many of these coaches feel they have a duty to these kids and these communities.

I think Les got a bit more credit for discipline than he earned in some circles here. Many of the suspensions and dismissals during his time were because of University policy and not Les cracking down as much as some would report.
