They're a team full of injury prone locker-room cancer head-cases with no draft picks for the foreseeable future. It's either going to work out great or they will implode spectacularly. Either way, it will be entertaining.

I'm not laughing until I see their final results spring/summer 2020. Lebron James is well-rested for the first time in his career, and he currently has the best teammate he's ever had.

They had the second best odds to win the title whenever they signed lebron last year. That is based on the lakers and lebron stans who overrate their sqaud and are willing to throw money away.

I love this freaking place. Where grown me act like pre-teen girls letting their emotions govern the way they think

Lol it’s silly but not surprising. Clearly the Lakers were either going to be the most dominant juggernaut of all time, or they were going to miss the playoffs all because of Kawhi. There’s no in between

Because Vegas thought they would get Paul George or another star.....

Once they didn’t, their odds completely dwindled. What a low key uneducated take by boom

They're not the Hornets but 3rd best odds is legit LOL funny.

That's the worst bet on the board.

LoLeBronkers

I don't know their roster has upgraded but AD and Boogie are injury prone and what kind of bench do they really have?

The only thing that would make the whole thing funnier is if the Lakers somehow signed Carmelo Anthony.
Its going to happen

And with all those egos on one team, its going to be a hilarious implosion when they're below .500 and everyone starts pointing fingers at someone else.

the general sense of entitlement is why people get annoyed with lakers fans

My biggest thing is load management for two guys who definitely need it

The rest of that roster is not good enough to give Lebron and AD a lot of time off
This times a million.

36 minutes per game, if we use that standard(which is way more than Lebron should play) that's 24 minutes per game. Half the game one of them will be on the bench. Lebron's supporting cast will be worse than they were last season, and we know AD has never carried subpar casts very far. That's quite the mountain to climb, they really have their work cut out for them.

I see them in the 48 win range somewhere in the bottom half of the playoff teams. Probably not too close to missing the playoffs though, but closer to missing than being the #1 seed from a standings perspective.

They very much are, and that’s an issue for the Clippers

I feel better about their chances if one of them goes down for a while, though.

They’re joining a good, familiar nucleus

The Lakers created a new, weird nucleus - they basically have to rely on guys to be better and do more than they ever have.
