He was very good in the first half. People always have and always will think he sucks because he just does his job, which isn’t flashy. No reason to even discuss it anymore, people made up their minds on him years ago.

If by doing his job, you mean, getting beat off the dribble pretty much every time as well as have no ability to control the midfield and no ability to win 50/50 balls, I totally agree and stand corrected....He had a wonderful game.

Over the last 2-3 years, sure, he hasn’t been that impressive... the cycle before that though, he was our best player and it wasn’t even remotely close.

His team was not the one playing possession, which a terrible position for a center mid to be in. They just simply had more options than he could cover.

I dont know. He had a feathery touch on that pass right to a Mexico player in the last 5 minutes.
