ESPN Sources: Russell Westbrook and his agent Thad Foucher are engaged with OKC GM Sam Presti on next steps for the All-Star guard, including the possibility of trade this summer.

What would you give up for him?

I say anything other then Jrue, Zion, two picks this year, and the last Lakers pick.

Westbrook in our up tempo pace with Zion would be deadly.

I’d give up literally nothing for Russ.

No, Westbrook is a stat padder and a selfish player that can't shoot. He does not fit well with this team at all.

I love watching him play, and I think that he would be pretty sick in transition on this team, but it kills our flexibility and he seems to be a malcontent.

Question is what would OKC have to give up to get us to take on Westbrook

I'd want everything they just got for George

Y’all are crazy. I would love to have Westbrook.

I’m a sucker for guys that play hard like he does.

I would be willing to give up Moore, Favors, and Christian Wood and they’d have to give us all the draft picks they got from the Paul George trade to compensate for taking on that horrendous contract

Then you might as well go ahead and trade Zion for him, because Russ would severely limit his growth

A westbrook fan downvoted you but i agree with you. Dude is overrated, hes had great supporting cast around him and cant win it. Hes a selfish player and i dont like his drama.

He’s about to be 31 and we are trying to build for the future. Doesn’t really fit our timeline

Would be an incredibly short-sighted move that wouldn't translate to wins or long-term success.

Westbrook's best days are behind him.

He is on a 40 million dollar salary that increases to 46 million until his 35th birthday. Going on 31 this season.

Any team that acquires him will be paying other teams to take him in a couple of seasons.

His efficiency has dropped, his defense is worse than ever, and most importantly, his frickball tendencies have only solidified even more. He is the opposite of a Gentry guy, he is someone that is going to dominate the ball and shot clock and put his numbers above Zion and our young guy's development. And seriously, just ask yourself, do you want that type of player on the back end of his career as your highest paid player going into Zion's prime? And, think about it, Presti is no fool, bet on Westbrook over Harden and Ibaka, and he and Paul George are wanting to get away from him. Again, think about it.

The problem with Westbrook is he's an offensive engine best surrounded by finishers. He just sucks up too much oxygen to pair well with others unless you have someone as gifted as KD or a bunch of low usage finishers.
