USC, LSU, 79/09/29 (this morning posted version)

I also have all of the 2003 season . (every game every play)

2003 Cotton Bowl: Pregame included

1962-63 Cotton Bowl: excellent quality film.color repo.

In 1979 LSU put up as good a fight as I've ever seen. I wept

Incredible game. I remember watching it on TV in MO before I even had a clue that I'd be attending LSU in a few years.

I know this is about one of the greatest TS games of all time, but be sure to watch the Miller Lite commercial at the beginning (around the 1:20 mark). That was a classic in itself. See how many of the characters you can identify.

Anybody got the box score from the LSU/USC 1979 game? I'm curious about something.

Some people griping about rewatching old football games. Hell, I get all emotional just watching the first quarter onto the second when we score. Fightin' Tigers came from games like this.

your definition of superior is off.

that static/rainbow section on the top of the screen of the USC game is distracting as frick.

I was there as a wee lad. My seats were the first row of the yellow overhang on the middle section in the corner of the EZ and it was LOUD. In 1979, America was still far more regional so this game was really a David vs Goliath Louisiana pride thing.

I can imagine some will be surprised to see Hokie could actually run fast and hard.

I was a freshman at LSU when I watched that game. It was truly the loudest I have heard Tiger Stadium. And the decibals were sustained!

Never seen the USC game.

Born in 1981, didn’t start watching until 1987.

I heard about it, assumed it was a Day game for some reason.

Hokie already has two good rushes to start the game.

Thanks for posting.

My freshman year. I was there! Incredible atmosphere! I didn't have a seat. SRO and I stood on the steps in student section the whole game.
On the 4th and long play the whole USC line moved. You will never convince me Benji Thibodeaux mace masked McDonald!
Rewatched game in the Pub, basement of Johnson when it was a dorm.
