Who wants to beat the shite out of Westboro Baptist Church ?!!!

Not me. I’d be perfectly happy to defend their right to be unbearable fricktards. Because I’m an American and I understand that your rights end at the beginning of my nose. I’d defend those assholes if they were on my sidewalk with “God Hates Pimp “ signs. Free Speech rocks. We have an obligation to defend the right of arseholes to engage in unpopular speech. America 101. Jr High level stuff. We all accepted this as an inviolable principle when we were 14.
Until the cancer that is Progressivism arrived on the scene. And as Progressives RAGE VIOLENTLY against Speech they disagree with, the rare nobility of our American ideals are tarnished little by little until we look around and we see nothing but an angry Prog mob who feel absolutely entitled to kill people they disagree with. Sad.

That’s a very underrated movie, it’s definitely worth the watch. Living in these parts all my life has given me a different perspective on the Civil War, very different than most parts of the country. The Civil War in MO was a complete clash of cultures, it’s why so many outlaws favoring the South boiled up in MO after the war.

It was a very unsentimental film. I liked that immensely as most Civil War films are saturated in the sentimental cliches . I watched it about a half dozen times.

frick Westboro. But I'd pretty much leave them alone as long as they remained peaceful. They're pretty annoyingly heartless and disrespectful at military funerals though and that shite burns me up.

They are ok to speak as long as they accept the consequences of such, I.E. getting g their arse whipped. At the same time, you are free to whip their arse as long as you are ok with the consequences of your action. Freedom doesn't guarantee action without consequence.....
