What's Brandon Ingrams ceiling?

I've been watching all the season reviews on YouTube (yeah I know haha) but a lot of the more informed individuals who post videos seem to be very high on Ingram and the back end of the season where he averaged 20/6/4. His body reminds me of SuperSonics KD, but my question today is what do you think his ceiling is?
I believe if he can fix the 3pt shot and FT% he can be KD-ish on great nights but a 22/5/5 guy on average nights. Again this is BI hitting his ceiling.
What do you guys think?

His ceiling is a a better defending, worse shooting KD.

somebody on this roster has to score and it will be ingram.
my best guess is that they will feature him early and often in order to both assess his potential and to make him visible as a trade candidate
I don’t know what he can or can’t do because I don’t watch the lakers, but I do watch the pels and as we know we haven’t had a wing who can create from the perimeter since mashburn

His form on his jump shot looks like he can be a shooter.

Watching Russell and Randle blossom AWAY from the LAL really does give me a ton of hope for Ingram and Ball. The big smile emoji he posted after the trade speaks volumes IMO.
BI and Ball for that matter have the tools to be really good if not great NBA players but they obviously need work.

KD was always a great shooter going back to high school. Ingram has some inconsistent mechanics and shoots some awkward shots at times, but can stroke it on occasion and should get better.
I think he’s more Anthony Davis than KD. Handles of KD, but with the shot of AD. Defensively he’s not great so far, but KD is his comp.

Best analysis of his ceiling I've heard is Ben Golliver on Open Floor.
Ingram's game has too much Noah's Ark- everything is 2 by 2- to really get to the next level

I think Ingram can be an All-Star but he won’t ever be a top 10 player in the league

Was this a recent podcast? I’d like to put it on my list and listen to it going to work tomorrow.

yes I don’t think anyone really regards him with a elite player ceiling.
But remember nobody thought that about oladipo either
he’s got talent and tools in spades.

I don’t think he’s going to be elite but he doesn’t have to to be an All Star and be the second leading scorer for us

right I’m sure that’s the hope, that he will be the leading scorer at least most of this year.
all star probably not but how about most improved?

His jumper is really all that is holding him back.
Unfortunately, the lack of progress in reforming that three seasons into his career makes me lean toward it never truly getting resolved. Slight improvements, sure, but he needs more than that to reach his potential.
Put on top of that, as good as the Pels have been at reforming jump shots for players, we basically have 4-5 players that need that care and assistance, and I can’t imagine we have enough of that to go around for everyone. It’s one thing to incorporate sweep and sway for Gordon and Evans while helping AD rebuild his jump shot, it’s going to be a tall ask to completely rebuild Ball, Zion, Ingram, and Hayes’ jumpers simultaneously....But maybe it can be a group class thing lol

I think you forget about trying to make Ball a shooter and just work on finishing and free throws...turn him into rondo.
Zion’s turn will come, he just needs to play defense and dunk right now while he gets acclimated. Hayes likely won’t play much.
This season should be all about Ingram if they are going to maximize this deal

Yeah. He's got the potential to get there. These things are fixable and he's still so young.

Not recent. I think it was closer to February and talking about Lakers package for Davis.

Andrew Wiggins that plays defense.

A top twenty nba player. He is the most complete offensive player on the Pels right now. He and Zion are the future
