So far I have had only had two issues this year. My manuel switch for my portside livewell aerator will not work. The timer still works but not the continuous function. Bought and installed a new switch and this did not fix it. Over it. Will try to fix later when it gets cold.

Secondly my Lowrance HDS gen 3 has been acting like a fool. The tech support guys solution for everything is a hard reset and if that does not work they are pretty clueless. After several unsuccessful frustrating hours on the phone I said I should have bought a Humminbird....”crickets”. I need this fixed before Saturday so calling again when I get off from work today.

Trolling motor went out on my aluminum boat then Sunday my ski boat basically was sunk when I walked up to it in the morning to load it. Apparently it had a leak where the ladder in the back bolts through the boat which i found after the boat was pulled out. It had enough weight in the back that it sunk low enough for water to come in through the breather vents on the side and completely submerged the motor. The bilge couldn't pump as fast as the water coming in. The joys of owning boats.

That actually works for a lot of software issues. It's annoying that every help center tells you to do it, but it works. If you keep pushing, they'll escalate it

The powerhead on my 2015 Yamaha F115 blew earlier this year. The crank seal on top of the motor dislodged and the oil leaked out.

Bilge went out. Glad it was something I could change myself.

Paddle would only go in reverse. Easy fix though.

Damn...y'all some motor blowin' sumbitches!

I have a 35hp MudBuddy and the voltage regulator went out and I haven't changed it yet, so my battery doesn't get charged while running. I just make sure I have a full charge before leaving home, also have trolling battery as backup and jumper cables under my seat.

This has been almost every year for me. Going to try to find a cable solution next time.

All 3 trolling motor batteries croaked at separate times. Next time when one goes I'm changing all three. Then the fuse blew on my battery charger lead making me think cranking battery had died.

Found 4 cracks on bottom of aluminum mudboat. Lost a bilge pump, throttle assembly broke, have to take off muffler to get to assembly. Two muffler bolts broke now have to drill and retap. Gonna have to remove motor to flip over hull and fix cracks in welds. While doing all of this I will have to recover running boards on trailer with carpet. Also need new teleflex for throttle.
frick me running. Gonna try and get all that done this weekend.
