But, I sincerely believe he may be the last republican president for at least 12 years.

I think Nikki Haley would be an exceptionally strong candidate. I can’t think of many that would beat her at this point.

How is paying them a salary monthly by the gov weaning anybody off the teet?

If it's less than what they are currently leaching off the system, then there is marginal benefit. Again, I'm not for UBI, just speaking to Andrew Yang's thoughtfulness. He's not an ideologue, which is refreshing. He's basing this off of Alaska's dividend, and even though I think this would be radically different, if there are pragmatic solutions to problems, I'm willing to listen.

The guy who says he’s going to give everyone a $1,000 check every month can draw a crowd? Shocker

The MSM/DNC won't allow Yang.

Does anyone know when the deadline is to run for President in 2020? I believe it has passed, no?

Yang does have a pretty devoted following but imo many of the issues he brings up currently are not an issue with Trumps roaring economy and manufacturing jobs coming back.

Imo he is a leftist version of Ron Paul. Has a solid following but most will write him off as a loon due to certain positions.

He is someone who would be a bigger threat during an recession

It comes from John Locke and Thomas Paine -- their views on property and 'the commons'.

It's not a radical idea to suggest an additional tax (and subsequent redistribution) on those people who generate wealth by using up resources which collectively belong to the citizens of the U.S. That's justice -- provided it is distributed equitably.

See Alaska for an example of what Yang is proposing.

I'm sorry but a dishonest person can't tell me what is radical an expect to be believed.

Your socialistic and dishonest ways don't do much for you. Perhaps your DU peeps will believe you.

Every time one of you mental midgets get flustered that’s the first thing you go to. It never gets old.

If you truly thing that the majority of trucking jobs will be gone in 15-20 years, then you are a goddamned moron. The trucking industry is so much more than driving down a highway, but you are a clueless jackass spouting off about things you know nothing about so I’m not surprised. For the foreseeable future there will be an operator in the cab, period. Will we see more capable cruise controls and auto steers similar to ag tractors? Sure, but you’ll still have an operator in the cab.

And one more time in case you missed it: You are a fricking moron.

Because this is acceptable behavior for suggesting not to underestimate a candidate.
