I can't recall this ever happening since I've been following LSU baseball.

The majority of these Paul Bots are John Bel voting, fine with Louisiana being #50 in everything losers. They generally have low expectations in life, so don’t expect them to hold Mainieri accountable.

It sucks. But UCLA ended the season #1 in the country and didn't even make it Omaha. Preseason rankings don't mean much. This team was never the best team in the country. They were a fringe top 8 team, which is how they finished.

That was the worst performance of any LSU team I've ever seen, including regular season. Looked more like a bottom 16 team. Wasn't even fun to watch. So frustrating.

Of the D1 baseball top 22 teams, 15 of them made it to the Super Regionals.

Fighting back to tie a game in the late innings to go to extras only to lose in 12th after an unbelievable performance by a reliever is the worst LSU baseball game you’ve ever seen?

We were ranked that high because we saw a great recruiting class come in, followed by several guys returning that weren't expected to do so.

Bull fricking shite they were a “fringe top 8 team”
This team stuggled to knock off Southern Miss, who wasn’t even a good regional 3rd seed, then went 2 and a BBQ against Florida State. We weren’t “close” to Omaha by any stretch of the imagination.
We were actually one of 3 teams to go 0-2, and at least those other 0-2 teams lost to higher seeded teams.
It absolutely amazes me that LSU fans are praising Mainieri for this mediocre bullshite season and giving the worst performance of any of the 16 teams in super regionals
