What changes next year staff wise, I don’t see fans taking another year of this!

We need a change in philosophy and recruiting philosophy. The players Paul is bringing in are just not good enough

He needs to put together a real fricking staff instead of former players with no experience before they started at LSU.

Some of y’all are dumb as hell. That 80 year old man has won a ship pile of games over his career. Winning 40 games a season for however many years in a row he did it, is unbelievable.

LSU had too many base running errors, too many coaching errors. I don’t know what’s going on among staff, but this is crazy stuff.

Fans don’t make the decisions. Mainieri is fine baseball wise, but his inability to hire qualified coaches is an issue.

Martin coaches an excellent series, it helped that he actually had LHP & a balanced lineup

Fine baseball wise? He just let the guy you can’t let beat you, beat him. WITH A BASE OPEN. maybe Paul thought he was the hole team and the game wasn’t going to be over.

Paul has the Les Miles loyalty flaw.

I don’t want to be negative, but what does anyone see from Mainieri at this point that makes you think that he could ever win a title again? He is going down the same path as Miles. He gets “talent “ but can’t develop it into anything that can consistently win in crucial situations. I turned the game off in the 6th inning. I have no confidence in lsu pulling out these types of games anymore. Whatever magic this program once had is long gone now.

I thought it was the decision by fans and an inability to hire a qualified offensive coach, that got Miles fired?

Sounds like you’re really invested in LSU baseball.

I think he has the “fricking dickhead that nobody wants to work for” flaw. I highly doubt that he just randomly started hiring random ex-players without being turned down by many other choices first.
