Holder would probably be very good, hell, I think Dellinger could be good as well. I think Underhill might be good if paired up with a good person who can control the flow of the show.

You can fix the knowledge thing with getting him more well-rounded and have some good people around him

I've listened to that YouTube thing more than once... did anyone ever figure out who Stefan Watts is? Kaare sure didn't like hearing about him.
Some of the funniest shite I ever heard was Kaare losing it after they renamed the Twin Span after Frank Davis. I get it, his dad toiled away trying to be a serious journalist for years at WWL, but who do they name the bridge after? Some goofball with a fishing pole and a cute accent. Man did Kaare see red!
(And I like Eric Asher as much as anyone on the radio in NOLA.)

I’ve never figured out who Stefan Watts is, I just thoroughly enjoy how mad he gets and how quickly he gets personal inquiring about the caller’s name, job, age, place of employment

Kaare tries so hard to come across as this level-headed, middle-of-the-road guy, but in reality he's a bubbling cauldron of rage and resentment.
Getting fired from WWL did not start this, but it also didn't help. I remember listening to him after Katrina, just driving around the city, when there was absolutely nothing else to do. You could tell he thought he was going to win all sorts of plaudits for that, but all he got was a pink slip.
