Started my weekend on Wed with a three boat charter out of Spicers at 5am. Headed up the ship channel with my 2qts of crickets looking for reds. Found 3-4 before the call came to move because anther boat was on them. Finished off our Tx limit(15) of reds and some heads for good measure and back at the dock for 1:30.
Gun trip sunday, 17 reds, 1 flounda, 1 head, back at barn for 1. Hot as balls yesterday without much wind, almost felt like A-Box friday night.

I was able to squeeze in a quick trip to Grand Isle Friday and it paid off. We had our 3 man limit by 10 and played catch n release until we ran out of croakers. I’m glad I went Friday because the amount of boats out there Saturday was fricking insane.

3 keeper reds and a gar in the Biloxi Marsh Saturday. We did explore a couple areas that we hadn't been to before that should be good fishing if the salinity ever returns

I was back at the bend this past weekend. I got up there around 10:00 Friday morning and fished until the weather blew us off around 4:00ish. I am normally scared to death of lightning, so if I see it I run. I did not see any but the line would float in the air and my rod shocked me multiple times. It was then that I decided it was time to go. Anyway, we caught around 60 on Friday in the mid-lake area between 18-22 FOW. We caught them on dropshot, C-rig and crankbaits. The biggest was around 5.5lbs pictured below. Saturday we fished the same areas except we ran down to the indian mounds as well. Same story as we caught around 50 or so with the biggest being 3.10lbs. Sunday we fished from sunrise to 11:30 and caught around 25. We got on a good crankbait bite around 10:30 catching several solid 2.5 lb. fish. All in all it was a good time with my brother. We caught lots of fish and lots of keepers.

The closest I got to fishing was getting text messages from you and Unc. Heard a few trout are starting to be caught in Big Lake again after a long lull of muddy/fresh water. Hopefully some of it will drain out before the weather comes through again.

Maybe I'll get to finally fish in 20/20. Who the hell knows?
