Should LSU be included on this list? Sure. But he's ranking the players on what they did in the majors. Frick ESPN, but I'd say it's a decent list.

It is a list based on the best MLB WAR lineups that a given college can produce. That's it. It has nothing to do with college production.

It’s a ranking of best lineups by what they did in MLB. LSU doesn’t have a lot of former players that have had successful MLB careers.

They did it by MLB WAR LSU hasn't had many quality big Leaguers to put up enough WAR

There is no problem with that list or how it was compiled.
It's ironic, though, the 5th ranked team, San Diego St (Mark Grace, Tony Gwynn, Stephen Strasburg) has never been to the CWS.

I was waiting for someone to post about that article.

Looks like theyre going by the biggest MLB names. By this measurement, Southern might have a better all star team than LSU. Lou Brock, Rickie Weeks, and Danny Goodwin (only player to be selected #1 overall twice in the MLB draft. think his career was derailed by injuries.)
The best pro careers from LSU are who? Albert Belle, Ryan Theriot?

Also, the cutoff of 1965 drops off one of LSU's best players: Alvin Dark.
