I know the Jefferson Parish school system has been a joke for several years, but their attempts at reform and pandering to the ignorant continue.
Henry Ford and Theodore Roosevelt are out.
Emmet Gilbert and Tom Benson are in.

from now on all schools in america must be only named after dinosaurs or plants

Yes, because there is obviously no reason at all that Henry Ford should be the name.

Roosevelt became a shite show when they redrew the lines so that the nice area of kenner sent their kids to Adams and the hood sent their kids to Roosevelt. Rather than blend, they went mostly low income.
Less parental involvement and inept Sandy Denspolis never lifted a finger to help the school.
The name change is to forget how bad Roosevelt had become.
