Why would he text that like he did?? Was that yesterday or this morning? I heard the report of it this morning but I was not sure when he actually tested it.

Tillerson is dumb as a rock because he thought he was going to get the final say on policy decisions like he did at Exxon.

Wait, isn't your side claiming that Exxon et al are destroying the planet. That wouldn't instantly qualify someone to be "dumb as a rock"?

Don't see any benefit to Trump saying stuff like this... He needs to cool it before the 2020 election. Tillerson was a good contributor to his cabinet, before personal differences on policy got in the way at least.

Whether you like him or not, at some point you have to admit that trump talks out of his arse a lot. He basically debates himself on twitter

The issue with Tillerson was that he was not a team player. He didn't listen to anyone and did what he wanted and not what the President wanted. Eventually he was totally isolated. The goal of any cabinet member is to execute the President's agenda wrt whatever department they are running. Rex seemed to think his job was to execute his foreign policy vision. He was mistaken.

I watched Tillerson confirmation hearings. He is a person I would have enjoyed working for. He was assigned the job of downsizing the state department and the level of treachery there was an order of magnitude higher than he experienced at Exxon

While you are acting all open minded, understand that you don't get to rise up in Exxon by being a dummy with a low IQ. You will get sniffed out very fast there if you show any weakness
Trump's problem is that he does not do details and does not really like them
