I think you just are around too many trashy people

Many of the smartest and most successful people that I know have zero qualms with partaking on occasion. They don't smoke all the time, but it's not a big deal to them either.

Herb does not know socioeconomic lines. The difference is often the quality of the THC/CBD ingestion.

Jeez, they're my age. I only know a few folks around my age that are that adamantly against the w33d, but it's probably the company I keep. Most of my friends still partake - so e regularly, some just every now and then.

Hard to believe they went to high school and college in the same era I did and never tried it. Even a lot of the prudes I knew at least tried it.

Same here. Brah, I know doctors and lawyers that smoke daily and it doesn’t affect them says the 10 gauge ear holes, crappy tats, beanie cap in July, door dash delivery guy. It should be legal with everything but then the potheads make you want to vote to spite them.

Don’t we all take this chance everyday though with alcohol?

But even that perception is born out of its prohibition

All drugs should be legal to use. Prohibition doesn't work, creates dangerous alternatives and is costly.

Maybe, but there would also be costs and dangers to society if all drugs were legalized. I don't know whether pot should be legalized or not. However, the point I was trying to make in my intial post was that informed opinions can be had without having experimented with Illicit drug use.

shite my dads a cop and says it should be legal for recreational use.

He said hes never responded to a domestic violence situation where the guy beating the shite out of his wife or kids was high on pot. It's almost always drunk or fricked up on meth.

I’m against legalization. I think it affects a lot of people psychologically and has a long-term effect on their brain chemistry if they smoke regularly. I also think if you get high with marijuana, you’ve obviously become comfortable with the idea of getting high and may be more open to getting high with other drugs.

I don’t think normalizing the use of a drug with the specific intent to get high is a good idea for the country.

I'm in my early-40s and I've never smoked. Then again, I've always been a leader, not a follower. I was never influenced by what other people around me were doing, and had no problem saying no to my friends who were doing stupid shite. Not to mention it's trashy af.
