How did Morpheus survive? Will there be a fourth since it set up going after the high table?

Iron chef fight was one of the better boss fights ever. I loved the fact that wick was trained in the ways of the ninja.

Halle Berry would get it. She was as badass as wick. Loved the dog work.

Loved it. Thought it was on par with Chapter Two. No doubt there’ll be a 4th called John Wick: The Final Chapter. High Table is going down.

Overall, the action is the best in the series, but the plot and sequence of events wasn’t as tight and compact as the last two. Though judging by the ending of this one, JW4 will go back to what the series does best: John Wick out for revenge

Started off great, but I thought some of the action scenes went to long personally (broken glass really?). Hated the ending, but I'm sure that was $$$$$ talking.

This one felt very different. I enjoyed it, especially the 2nd half, but there was a lot of extra super cartoonish stuff. Like John gets hurt more than both the last too combined. Like I don’t think my dad who liked the first two would like this one as much.

I thought it was great. My only real gripe was that the fall seemed like a bit much.

I loved the movie, but WTF. I though this would be the last one.

Glass room fight dragged.
Should've cut that scene shorter and given us more horse and dogs.

Great stupid fun though. I was pleased.

Loved Halle Berry's dogs. Still fine at 52. The Iron Chef fight was John Wick entering the dragon. I wanted the Adjudicator chick to get stabby-stabbed every time she was onscreen. The next movie is definitely set up for a final showdown. John kills everyone and walks off into the sunset or dies trying.

The adjudicator wasn’t nearly good looking enough. She needed to be a smoke show and she was far from it.

The consistency in these films is pretty outstanding.

Overall, I could probably find some points here or there that are slight problems, but they aren't worth mpitpicking when the movie itself is so much fun.

I think 3 had some of the best sequences and most inventive fight scenes yet honestly. And some nice little callbacks to the first two films (how we kills Dacacos).

I meam 4 has to be called "John Wick Chapter 4: War" Right?

Absolutely thought this was the last one of the series, with “Parabellum” referring to John Wick fighting the High Table to eliminate his ex-communicado status.

Either way, loved it. Can’t wait to see him pick off the High Table one-by-one.

Did you find the Marcus betrayal shocking? I mean, damn! Those two have stuck together through it all. Was Marcus never truly loyal and only wanted to use John Wick to advance his own agenda?

Watched it last night and thought it was fantastic, especially the first 45 minutes. They'd announced #4 right after release so I knew the story wouldn't be wrapped up. It's kind of annoying because I know it never will be. It looks like they'll go the Fast and Furious route with this one.
quote:

Halle Berry would get it.
Bleh. No. She's kind of a slag now. Getting all tatted up only makes it worse.

But I think that Halle is part of the new wave feminist "rule" that a leading man can't have a much younger female love interest. So expect to see these old ladies popping up into more blockbuster action movies. Her fight scene seemed forced, inserted just to "establish" that she's a badass.

I love that the movie continues immediately from the end of the last one. The timer and the chase were very well done, and transitioned to the more intense fighting once the clock struck. I'm disappointed that they identified the city as New York, though. I liked the more ambiguous, pure fantasy feel of the previous movies, seemingly set in an impossible "Hit Man Land" where nothing can touch any of them, except each other.

4/5. I hope the next one keeps it up.

i liked it but it left me feeling like it went no where, part 1 and 2 started at point a and went to point b but this one never seemed to go anywhere for me

i would have liked it better without the desert scene which was as nonsensical as it was unnecessary, and no way in hell a damn rag head who is sitting in the desert without electricity or a toilet is running a world wide assassination empire from a tent with a camel. that one part ruined it for me

as i watched them meet in that tent, i kept thinking this is just a redo of the scene from the matrix where neo meets the architect of the matrix and is given a choice and must decide which of the 2 paths to take, because thats how it felt and seemed, like they didnt know where to go with the movie and stole a scene from another movie to fill in the blanks.

i agree its setting up part 4 where he takes out the high table and alibaba in the desert but this one was a let down after 1 and 2 so i hope 4 returns to the original bad assery and skips getting cute and stupid with the story
