This is a misleading title. You made it seem like he is paying 56% in taxes. He is paying 45%. Which is way too high for US citizens. ( Thanks Cali )

The rest is regular investments that smart people make.
(along with a few NBA player specific expenses)

I'm not sure if Curry actually votes, but if he does I can guarantee you he votes for the very politicians that make him pay that much.
