I’ve listed 3.

You attempted to back me into the “morality/Christianity/murder/abortion is murder” corner. I know, you don’t agree. But you see the point of others, apparently.

That’s a logical fallacy. False dilemma. It’s a widely used example, actually.

Had we continued it would have led to the argument of when is a life actually a life, which is another widely referenced logical fallacy in abortion arguments. The continuum fallacy.

The moralistic fallacy is an informal fallacy also widely referenced in these debates.

It would take far too much effort to spell out exactly how these examples fall into the logical fallacy. I don’t intend on putting in that sort of effort. Google the fallacy with the word abortion behind it and you will probably find a lot of pages.

Here is one for the continuum fallacy, I barely glanced over it but seems to address it mostly.

The false dilemma is pretty obvious. If you require an explanation there then there is no helping you.

The intent is debatable, as they haven't publicly declared that.

But the results are not debatable.

Rape victims in Alabama are now being forced to carry rapists' seed to term for the foreseeable future.

Great job guys!

Not the Alabama bill.

Unless you weren’t taking me down the “murder is illegal because of morality and therefore that’s why pro lifers believe abortion is murder” this fits the bill, perfectly.

Alabama House Rep. Terri Collins, who sponsored the bill, told NBC News Tuesday evening that legislators wanted to keep the bill's text as clean as possible, specifically to address the language in Roe v. Wade, which talked about a baby being "in utero." "This bill's purpose is to hopefully get to the Supreme Court and have them revisit the actual decision, which was, is the baby in a womb a person?" Collins said. "And we believe technology and science shows that it is. You can see that baby tissue develop all the way through now."

Where, specifically, did I cause a false dilemma fallacy?

You have yet to quote a single post of mine.

I didn’t engage you so there is noting to quote.

Feel free to elaborate on the corner you were going to back me into, then. What were you trying to get at?

It may take a bit for me to respond as I’m still on this call.

So you accuse me of multiple logical fallacies, yet there is nothing to quote.

I used common sense as it was clear what road you were headed down. I guess we can start that conversation over.

Murder is illegal because it’s considered morally corrupt to take someone’s life against their will. Only bad people kill others for their gain.

New Civil War

The North wants to kill babies
The South wants to save them

Ok, that's clear. Good link.

Now I want that person to defend using rape and incest victims as cannon fodder for their political agenda.

Because I find that abhorrent.

Not really interested in discussing anything else with you here.

I just wanted you to admit that I didn't actually commit any logical fallacies.

Ah, so now you know where I’m headed. I can’t blame you. I too try to avoid logical fallacies.

Surely we can both, as pro choice, agree that the murder is wrong so abortion is murder is a prime example of a false dilemma logical fallacy then.

Which thankfully you closely avoided because I wouldn’t engage in your idiocy.

Alabama state government is a POS organization comprised of fake religious, morally bankrupt power brokers. This bill is simply a self serving tool so these dipshites can go back to their local district churches and pander to their slack jawed red neck voting base.

But at least they have a good football team, roll tide
