What are you basing that on?

If you are raped and are not on contraception, there are pills you can take that can prevent conception. Stop using this excuse because it’s not a valid one. Nobody is advocating for victims of rape to carry an unborn fetus to term. Rape and incest are horrible, but you don’t have to have an abortion, you can terminate any chance of conception with a plan B pill. There, now stop using that as an excuse an open up a real meaningful dialogue.

1. Plan B is not 100% effective

2. Woman get roofied. Women get drunk and black out. Not all rapes are known at the time that they occur.

Forcing a woman to have the baby of a rapist is ridiculous

What is people's obsessions with killing babies. Why is that a hill that so many are willing to die on. I don't understand

It is worse than that. These same people are opposed to executing a 10 times convicted murderer or child rapist. They are morally bankrupt!

Stop being so fricking dramatic. In most rape cases, God forbid, you could still take the plan B pill to stop conception before it happens.

You just don't know when to take the loss huh? Again, you are missing the point

After abortions are banned the same people want them banned too.

Well it’s always some outlier. Someone gets roofied, someone gets kidnapped and raped for months. Horrible shite, we can all agree. They should be able to have an exception. My point is doing that means that you have to make exceptions for everyone else. Where do we draw the line?

No I get it. I just think it’s a horrible excuse. Just admit that you don’t care and you’re cool with abortions. You haven’t said shite else except rape rape rape. What about the other abortions? You cool with those being banned? Because how will you make exceptions for some but not all? Please enlighten me so I can take my L and move on.

We have lines drawn all over the place. Bodily autonomy, freedom, privacy, separation of church and state, etc. But some lawmakers can't seem to help themselves from ignoring all of them. And now you ask where to draw this line?

It’s only a big deal because now they can’t kill babies in Alabama. I’m merely pointing out the absurdity in their argument. Pro Life people weren’t melting like this the last 40 years and you could have an abortion pretty much up to full term.

I don’t think the government should be able to tell people what to do when it comes to abortions. Not sure how that means I’m “cool” with abortions. Aborting babies isn’t cool to me but it’s also not my decision.

Not sure why I can’t feel strongly about rape or incest victims being told it’s a felony to get an abortion. I’m also not sure what you’re getting at as far drawing the line because rape and incest is a pretty good start especially since it’s such a tiny percentage (per your stats)
