I’ll answer your question this way. Murder is not illegal because of Christianity.

I’m not playing into your logical fallacy.

You can believe whatever you wish. My post history is quite contrary to what you seem to believe however.

Why is it illegal then? What is the justification?

You’re being silly. I’ve akready said I’m not playing into your logical fallacy. Move on to someone else with your top soil level enlightenment.

Adoption pricing has nothing to do with abortions. It has everything to do with overhead and legal fees. None of which are related to abortion.

Many couples that adopt in the U.S. are white and would like to adopt a white baby if they can.

Who do you think can easily now afford to get an abortion instead of putting the baby up for adoption?

White teenager from upper middle class parents.
Young white working woman.
Etc, etc

Because we as a society think killing some people is wrong.

Because people don't want you to kill their friends and family. Because we've evolved as social creatures who see it as wrong to murder each other.

There aren't many societies throughout history that endorsed killing each other, religious or not.

You're pretending not to know the difference between an embryo and your friend.

You realize the birth control pill works by making your body think you ovulated when you really don’t?

So there is no egg period.

There shouldn’t be an egg. But the Ohio bill (it’s had just it’s first reading I believe, separate from the fetal heartbeat bill) doesn’t differentiate in language, it specifically says prevents implantation (which it does, if you do still release an egg which happens even on BC sometimes especially if you take an antibiotic or other med while on it).

We also both know BC isn’t 100% effective even when used correctly. The legislator who constructed the bill said he’s aware it would outlaw most forms of BC but expects drug companies to “compromise” in creating BC that doesn’t prevent implantation.

Once again, completely absurd legislation.

What corner, the morality corner?

Listen, I understand the religious viewpoints are directly related to morality. But again, it’s a logical fallacy and certainly not something I’m going to debate all day with you.

I also disagree with all murder being wrong as well. And I don’t believe all life is sacred. Morality is flexible and everchanging IMO and most just don’t want to admit it. Which is why I don’t want to go down this road.

So then, a moral justification.

What's the difference?

The thing you and others fail to understand is the subject of abortion is not strictly a medical and/or legal one. It is mostly a moral one. And until you understand this, you will never understand why the other side is so passionate about it.

You say this:

quote:

Listen, I understand the religious viewpoints are directly related to morality.

Then say this:

quote:

But again, it’s a logical fallacy

I don't think you understand what a logical fallacy is.

You’re confused. We understand their passion as it relates to morality. The issue is we disagree with it.

There are multiple logical fallacies, so I don’t think you actually understand them. You’ve checked a couple of those boxes in this thread.

Any legitimate evidence to support this?

There have been numerous studies done on countries that had abortion bans lifted, crime rates started dropping around the time those first aborted kids would've hit their late teens.

You want me to list all logical fallacies? Or just the ones your morality argument checks?

The most obvious one is clearly the moralistic fallacy.

Nah, you can start with just one. We can go from there.

Are you saying a moral fallacy is a logical fallacy?
