You'd maybe have a point if 1) anyone was in favor of killing babies, and 2) Alabama did more for the health of babies once they were born. We have one of the highest infant mortality rates in the country, if not the highest. We've refused to expand Medicaid coverage for over 10 years now.

Willing to bet this has a lot to do with the unhealthiness of the mother.
I guess that's the state's responsibility to make sure women, who are choosing to become mothers, eat correctly, don't drink and smoke, etc.
But, I'll meet you halfway and force all welfare and food stamp recipients to only get healthy foods like vegetables and fruits.

In a partial birth abortion, they induce labor. They turn the baby upside down and pull it out feet first so its head gets stuck. So the little feet with ten toes, torso with umbilical cord hanging, arms with ten fingers flailing around are all born, outside the womb with the head still stuck. Then they take a knife and make an incision in the back of the head. Then they insert a vacuum into the incision and suck out the baby's brains. The baby dies and it's arms and legs stop flailing. The take forceps and crush and eviscerate the empty head. Then pull the dead headless baby out. Then vacuum all the little pieces of dead baby head out of the vagina.
This is a human baby
HOW THE frick IS ANYONE OK WITH THIS
There's a reason they don't do abortions at hospitals and they have to have their own clinics. 95% of doctors want nothing to do with it.

Semi-off topic buy I’m ignorant to pro life/pro abortion arguments. But for instance, outside of the situation itself, what’s wrong with abortion in regards to rape? If a minor with no high school diploma gets raped and pregnant, especially in a low income family, what’s wrong with terminating the pregnancy? Is it just a religious thing? I hate unnecessary loss of life, but I feel like they would likely have a pretty shitty life to begin with,
