I seriously have a feeling it's going to be some team none of us are thinking about, due to some situation that pops up down the line. Like the Sixers have a falling out with Embiid, so they slyly put him up. We end up trading Davis straight up for Embiid. Works on every level and is simple..

Embiid?

How about Durant and Lebron

sixers have some decisions coming up

butler and harris are both UFA and they can’t pay everybody
I’m prepared for at least one offer coming out that nobody has discussed.
We see davis’ leadership flaws, everyone else sees a basketball cheat code. butler and Davis together could be incredible if butler doesn’t make him cry

Embiid looks like hes about to die running up and down the court. Yall think Davis missed games? Wait for Embiid

If a young star Big would be your goal I think Id rather call about Ayton.

Philly has been discussed quite a bit.

The teams that have been discussed and I would list as possible

Toronto, LAC, LAL, ATL, Brooklyn, Chicago, Boston, NYK, Philly

If it's anybody other than nine, then yes it will have "come out or nowhere" and be a major surprise

But it won't. If he is traded, it will be one of those 9 and a few of those will even be eliminated Tuesday

too bad PHI burned all their good future assets this year.
saric/Covington/shamet and picks (heat 2021 esp)

also they had chandler to match salary

One of the best assets Philly has in a trade is that they DON'T have to match salary

They can do Simmons, Zhaire, 34 and 35 for AD and Hill for instance

Which isn't amazing on the surface, but when you factor in the 20+ mil you save, that is another asset

Imagine that 20 mil lands you Brogdon, for instance. Now, he's basically a part of that trade.

Is Simmons, Brogdon, Zhaire, 34, and 35 a good deal?

yes that would be a haul.
put Simmons in the front court and let him run and you’ll see the player he can be even without a jump shot. Add a couple of shooters and that’s a fun team

but even without brogdon you add the MIA pick to Simmons, smith and the high seconds and you take that all day. It would be nice if they still had it to trump any other offer that wasn’t zion or morant

Would Simmons be a Griffin guy though?

The Bulls are interesting if they land a top 3 pick. I do like Markkanen and Carter, Jr. a lot but I imagine they'd want to probably keep Markkanen to convince AD to stay.I'm guessing a package would be centered on say #2, Carter, and a truckload of picks?

Another interesting scenario if they somehow land in the top 3 is Miami. #3, Bam, Winslow, Richardson, and another pick or two would be interesting. You know Riley is willing to take the gamble on getting AD and using him go lure KD or Kyrie.

Yeah, Miami could make a great offer if they land in top 3. The "list" will be known in about 57 hours or so

How about the Hornets? They want to resign Walker, getting Davis gives them a great 1-2 punch. They have a bunch of good young pieces. Plus MKG is there and a great friend of Davis. Jordan is due to make a splash soon..

They have absolutely nothing the Pels would want...

Charlotte is full of bad contracts, and average draft picks
