Opinions on Billy Graham?

Most evangelists seem like frauds or hypocrites in my opinion. Billy Graham actually seemed legit and appeared to practice what he preached. Pretty impressive that he was a spiritual advisor to several US Presidents and many world leaders.
Does anyone have evidence to the contrary of the legitimacy of Billy Graham as an example of a true Christian?
Anyone ever attend one of his massive rallies and have a personal experience to share?

Wasn't he anti-semetic?

Be hard to love Jesus and be anti-semitic don't you think?

One of my favorite wrestlers in the eights. Hogan stole so much from him.

President Eisenhower got his fill of Billy and cut the tether.

How could he be? We couldn’t have eternal salvation if the Jews had never murdered Jesus

I grew up in a very religious family and whenever Dr. Billy Graham’s crusade hit primetime TV back in the 70’s, my parents cancelled any plans that had at the time to watch him.

I think he tried to be a leader for Christ. When it was revealed on the Nixon tapes that he participated in anti Jewish and anti black conversations with Nixon. He was contrite. Certainly better than his son Franklin

Billy Graham was most definitely not a shyster.
One of the finest evangelists and Americans that has ever lived.

What's wrong with Franklin? Have you seen the work that Samaritan's purse does?

Billy Graham seemed okay, but he raised a POS son so maybe he wasn't as great as he presented himself to be.

You couldn't be further from the truth on this one, fr33.
You can disagree with his doctrine all day, or his beliefs for that matter. He was an imperfect human being like us all. But his heart was to preach the Word of God to the world, and he backed up his words with action.
I have a lot of respect for the character that he displayed while he was alive. He was far from a shyster.

Franklin's all about the politics. He never met an issue he didn't have a burning need to share his opinion on. Billy was like that in his early career too but he backed way off it as he got older. He also integrated his crusades in the sixties when a lot of his followers weren't really down with it.
