the high priest was still responsible for sacrificing the lamb
Priest performs the sacrifice. What is the complaint?
While we are on this, the crime Jesus was found guilty was heresy. In particular, saying " I and the father are one."
You gentiles need to wake up to the fact you too are one with the divine. The early Christians were so craven they could not even "hear" him.
The good news is not that a late comer came after the murder and proclaimed the lamb analogy.
No. The news is that you are part and parcel of the very divine. Every man jack.
One you accept that instead letting ancient Catholic cowards say "it was only Jesus, no boss it ain't me, I'm no heretic", you can stop being afraid of Jewish heresy definitions and enjoy present time communion with the One who lives you, is you, loves you.

A wise man I know was asked about Billy Graham's ministry, the group asking was a bit condescending.
The wise man said "well I'll tell you this, when I lead as many people to Jesus as Billy Graham's ministry then maybe I will be in a position to criticize it."
Same wise man was in a church pastor was ranting about sin this & sin that. Then looked at the wise man (a long haired fellow) and says "SON!!!! do you know what sin is?" attempting to make his point at the wise man's expense. Wise man looks at him and say as a matter of fact I do. "Sin is to know to do right and not do it. More so he says, to me, sin is knowing the will of God for your life, his direction and not walking in obedience of the call."
Don't confuse me for the wise man he is a great individual. Me not so much.

I don't know of any evidence that Franklin Graham is anything but an outstanding person. His Samaritan'S Purse organization provides incredible services to people in need all over the world.

I used to have some respect for Billy Graham. When I was a kid growing up in the 70's, even though my mother was a devout Catholic who raised us as such, she loved to watch Billy Graham when he came on t.v. back then doing one of his "crusades." But years later, when that tape came out of Richard Nixon saying all those awful anti-Semitic things and Billy Graham basically agreeing with him, I lost any respect I had for him. Now, Franklin Graham is a whacko who I've had zero respect for from the beginning. He's a total nut-job, altogether.

I'm guessing you haven't yet heard the tape of Graham and Nixon bashing Jews.

Franklin Graham is nothing but a rightwing political hack. He set aside his "principles" about adultery to support lying arse Trump.

Yeah, AFTER he was caught on tape saying all those awful things, and the tape went public. The fact that he said them when he thought no one else was going to hear them reveals his true nature.

Well he could have doubled down on it but apologized.

''They're the ones putting out the pornographic stuff,'' Graham had said to Nixon. The Jewish ''stranglehold has got to be broken or the country's going down the drain,'' he continued
'I go and I keep friends with Mr. Rosenthal (A.M. Rosenthal) at The New York Times and people of that sort, you know. And all -- I mean, not all the Jews, but a lot of the Jews are great friends of mine, they swarm around me and are friendly to me because they know that I'm friendly with Israel. But they don't know how I really feel about what they are doing to this country. And I have no power, no way to handle them, but I would stand up if under proper circumstances
There are sitting Congress people who have said worse things.

Saw Billy at Vandy's stadium in the 80's. Most powerful speaker I've ever heard. Don't know who's second, but it ain't close. Billy was the Man.

Yeah, after he was exposed for saying things that he shouldn't have said in the first place if he was truly the high-moral guy he always affected to be. The point remains that if he was truly who he pretended to be, he WOULDN'T have ever said those things in the first place. He was, in the last analysis, a moralizing hypocrite who got rich and famous off of the word of God. And then he gave the country his political hack son, who we'll have to put up with for the next 40 years or so.

Great man. Would have even helped some of the deviants on this board that doubted him if he'd had the chance.

You seem to have made it your mission to bash Billy Graham at every turn. Quick question, did he ever pretend to be perfect? Did he ever claim to be flawless? If so, then I’d be inclined to agree with you. But if not, then you’re really making yourself look like an arse regarding probably the greatest spreader of the gospel since maybe Christ himself and since definitely Paul.
