Barnhill. 9-9 in SEC play. Through six, Tigers have one hit. An 8 foot dribbler.

This is more than just a slump. There is a MUCH larger issue.

Very disappointing to see them completely give away a national seed the entire last month of the year. Its not so much that at this point, its how we are now performing overall that disappoints me most.

I am proud of Sunseri in the circle. As for the hitting that was complete shite.

It’s almost like they are going to the plate expecting to make an out as opposed to how aggressive and confident they were 3 weeks ago. When your top hitters drop 100 points off their average in less than a month that’s awful.

357... What is the larger issue you speak of?

I’m quite sure I’m in the minority and I could care less about Florida’s recent success but I am embarrassed to lose to them in softball anytime but any sport to be honest. They are a shite program all the way around and we should never lose to them. Terrible!

Amanda Sanchez looks completely broken offensively and now the hitters around her have struggled mightily.

Since that SC series in March she has not been the same. Why? No clue.

I was wondering how they determine errors in softball.
The right fielder missed a fly that was in her glove.
The third baseman missed a throw that was in her glove.
The third baseman made a bad throw to first and the first baseman muffed it.
The pitcher stands with one foot out of the circle allowing the runner to advance to second.
They list us with only two errors.
The game was lost in the first two innings due to those mistakes/errors.

Its perplexing to me as well. Sometime during the Arkansas series it all seemed to turn south. I think teams have made some adjustments on these hitters and their swings but we still shouldn't be this overwhelmed at the plate.

Its just been unfortunate to see Sunseri come into her own to end the year and we suddenly cannot hit the broad side of a barn anymore. LSU shouldn't be going through this big of a stretch of offensive ineptitude. What Dobson has been doing, I don't know.

I feel for some of the players though. It seems like many of them are giving it their all but they have just seem overwhelmed lately. I am not giving up on anyone but I just have zero confidence right now.

It is definitely weird because this is where the team normally turns it on and in the last two seasons, they have been shut out in the quarters (last year to Tennessee). Going to be an interesting regional and super regional draw.

LSU is likely going to be an 11-12 seed. RPI won't drop far but I am assuming they take the end of the year performance and impact our seeding.

Some projections had Texas Tech coming up as the 2 seed in our regional.

LSU has gone through patches before to end a year but I cannot recall us having one this big before. Just at a loss for words right now.

I’d like to see Tx Tech come in for a regional. Those girls are scrappy. And my favorite former tiger plays there.

Softball hasn’t won a game since Scott Woodward started working as Athletic Director....

regardless of who comes to tiger park, if the bats do not wake up the season will end quickly. We have to have base runners and string together hits moving forward

Nice thing is Sunseri and Wickersham are pitching well. We need to help those girls out, they won't always be pitching blanks.

Torina has lost control of the team. They looked shell shocked the whole game.

Since the Baylor series they have played tight and are not having fun. Hitting has fallen off a cliff and the errors have ensued. There are alot of seniors on the team, but there does not seem to be a team leader. The can not win games with their pitching exclusively. They were winning consistently when they were scoring 7 runs a game.

They peaked to early and have gone down since. Florida on the other hand bottomed out and are peaking at the right time.

Some time you win, some times you lose, some times it rains.

Sunseri and Wickersham seem to be settling in but it seems the offense is heading the complete opposite way now. Its not like one or two kids are slumping, its the entire team. That to me signals a bigger issue.

I agree they peaked extremely early. Its not impossible to get back to playing at a high level but it starts with LSU's bats.

I'm blaming it on the loud-mouth wrasslin-belt wearing jerk in the stands.

The constant barrage of shite has to wear on a team.

What’s the bigger issue? Is there something going on behind the scenes that we don’t know about? Is it time to turn attention to Dobson? This is a yearly issue.
