We're about to find out how throwing 208 pitches yesterday is going to affect Berzon today.
Pleasants. Now 10 hits in 21 SEC games. Hitting .152. Three years ago she was an all American. What happened? I see a lot of fifth year players who should never have come back. They just seem tired and ready to get on with their lives.
The Tiger's SEC record does not lie. There are 13 softball teams in the SEC. The Tigers are in sixth place. So, therefore, middle of the pack.
Taylor Pleasants has now played in 18 SEC games this year. She has nine hits and is batting .160.
Like it or not, he is, "The Face" of LSU softball.

Oops! Left off a zero. 3,500. Starting salary about $75,000 up to $165,000 plus benefits. Medical device sales and management. Again, she would not take instructions well and would go against the grain. Just think of the little girl softball players out there who look up to her. Then they see her do something like that. Would you want your daughter to act like that and basically telling up to f off?

I understand Clark just got her master's degree. I am the hiring coordinator for a company that employs 350 people. No way would I ever hire her. She does not respect authority. Good luck finding a job if the company knows of her inappropriate actions on a softball field.
Top recruits??? Once they get here, they disappear. Just ask Maci Bergeron.

A team that commits four errors in one game simply doesn't deserve to win.
Maci Bergeron #2 recruit in the nation last year. How is she looking? Ask Howard.
In the fourth inning interview with coach Torina, trailing four to nothing, the first thing out of her mouth, quote, "I like where we're at." WOW!
Raise your hand if you think this lineup is capable of scoring four runs against Foutz.
Chaffin gives up her second home run. Players and Torina enter the circle and all are smiling like there's a party going on.

Just to show how much these announcers do not know about softball. With Macy Bergeron at bat, they said she was the two-time Gatorade player of the Year in Louisiana last year as, of course, she was. Then he went on to say she's having a fine freshman year at LSU. Really? Please tell me of any two-time Gatorade player of the year that has had a worst freshman year than Bergeron.
It's was worse than one might think. In the second inning, with the bases loaded, the Missouri pitcher walked Pleasants, who cannot swing a bat. That scored a run. She then walked the worst hitter on the team, Bergeron, scoring another run. Later in the game, she walked both Pleasants and Bergeron again, then Coffey drove both of them in. So, four runs scored because the pitcher was stupid enough to walk those two hitters not once, but twice.

An abdominal strain is an injury that takes a very long time to heal. The way to cure it, is to rest. Unfortunately, LSU's bench is not deep enough to have a viable hitter replace Pleasants at the plate. Chances are, she will not be back to 100% for the rest of the year if she continues to get at bats.

I have seen a lot of fifth year senior pitchers flame out. Looks like Kilponen's flame is running out of oxygen.

I don't know what to say about the catcher, one of the most productive power hitters in high school. So far, zero home runs, hitting about .175, a couple of passed balls in today's game and could not throw anyone out. For the last couple of years LSU fans have been hoping she would be the savior of LSU softball. I'm sure she and LSU fans never thought in a million years she would not hit over .200 her freshman year. Chances are, she won't.

Okay. So they've decided not to guard Clark. And some posters think two Tigers are going to guard her.
Haha. You going to compare a high school senior to Caitlin Clark?
