Ouch. Already paid Lawrence $105M and still need to pay Dak, Zeke, Cooper, Jaylon Smith, La'el Collins... gonna get ugly in Dallas.

Not too shabby for the 15-17th best QB in the league.

I'm almost certain the contract will be structured to where they can cut him if he's not performing and it won't kill their salary cap.

I expect it to be similar to Tank’s.

All of his guaranteed money is in the first three years. So if his production drops as he approaches 30+ he can be cut with little to no cap penalty.

I am not a fan of paying Dak, but I also know how hard it is to find a guy who can win games consistently. Dak has like the third most wins in the NFL since he’s been in the league.

Jaylon will likely be tendered after this year.

La’el will not be resigned.

Zeke’s fifth year option is in 20-21 and once Cooper signs an extension his cap hit actually decreases.

Byron Jones is the odd man out.

I also don’t think Dak gets $30 mil. I think Stephen will try to get to take a team friendly deal and if not they will let him play this year out and franchise him next year as long as he doesn’t suck arse.

Tom Brady looks like a guy that enjoys being pegged by his wife.

Why does anyone believe anything this hack writing boob ever says? I can not rememeber him ever being accurate with on single report related to the Cowboys. He reported for a week straight that Dallas and Lawrence were not even close to a deal right up to the very morning they agreed to his deal. The man is an idiot.

I’d rather not extend Dak until after the 2019 season, if we flop this season and Garrett gets canned the next coach should have the choice of Dak or going out and getting a new QB.

Dallas has a projected 80M in cap next season and La’el Collins isn’t getting paid.

La’el shouldn’t get paid either at this point

Dak is getting what the market dictates

I’d put Dak as the 13th best QB in the league, either you stick with a guy that has some potential to maybe slip into the top 10 for the majority of his career or you roll the dice and possibly get someone way better or a lot worse in the draft.
