I like the Shreveport Superior well enough but we want something else.

I'll probably get many down votes, but Superior Grill on Line Ave is my fave..

Probably should have went to Superior or something like that. The food at Ki Mexico was fantastic, but the setup is weird and it’s not a place that is very conducive to 11yo baseball players. Oh well.

Had you mentioned the 11 year olds, the recs likely would have differed.
Tacomania would suit that crowd. Big place with large tables and inexpensive standard Mexican joint fare, done well with good service for groups. El Compadre down the street would also be good for that.

Horrible advice. Not surprising, considering the source.

Almost Mexican.. There was a Puerto Rican place called Sabores on Industrial Drive in Bossier City. We did the Mofonguitos (plaintain cups with two dipping sauces) for an appetizer - very different. Wife did the pulled pork and brown rice. Pork was great, rice was flyover country. I did the grilled pork chops and their eggplant. Great choices on my part! This was a couple years ago, so might make sure they are still around.

Flying Heart Brewery has some pretty good pizza.

They closed down and it ended up being something else, now its a wings and rice type joint.
That location is cursed.
