So I was flipping through channels last night and ended up putting on the movie Backdraft. I saw the movie when it came out and a couple of times on cable but it’s been years.

Is it the best movie? No. So Billy Baldwin is not good, but it is prime Jennifer Jason Lee. And Kurt Russell and Scott Glenn are solid as always

But since I had not seen this movie in years I forgot how good DeNiro was In this , especially in a scene with Donald Sutherland

Donald was on screen for less than five minutes, but his performance as a pyromaniac was so haunting I was just amazed.

He had everthing from backstory to current situation and was actually scary that people like this do indeed exist

So I was wondering, what are other quick actor performances that are noteworthy.

Besides like Charlton Heston in Wayne’s world 2, not a cameo, but a character that is important to the story that is memorable.

Edit: I mean a five minute scene or less. Not multiple scenes adding up to twenty minutes that make a movie memorable like a Hannibal Lecter character.

Drew Barrymore in Scream.

More like she was the focus of the advertising then died in the first 6 mins.

It's not applicable to this thread but he absolutely crushed the deposition scene in Malice.

Robert Duvall was on screen for less than 18 minutes in the 2 & 1/2 hour Apocalypse Now and walked away with the Academy Award for Best Supporting actor. He is the most memorable thing about the film.
