Bought in hook line and sinker. I also did like some of the stuff he did and after the abysmal performance against bama in 16 seeing signs of life and actual production in 17 was very promising.

you mean SHIFTS??

because if you got tired of motion you should never ever comment about anything football related again.

A lot of people on here never watched a game he actually coached in before he was hired here at LSU so they didn’t see his offense. They just saw that he won the award for best assistant that year and that he beat Clemson. I thought it was great literally 2 plays in the first game and the motions start and you got our fans who wanted this guy saying screw this just line up and run it straight at them. Well that’s exactly why we fired the last guy. Having said that I was kinda iffy on the hire cause his offense was based more on the running the football then it was a diverse passing attack. Not surprised it didn’t work out

I was super happy when we got canada. I do think he was a terrible fit with O, our personel, and what LSU as an offense tries to do.

I was moderately but cautiously excited until the Spring Game.
I thought Pitt’s win vs Clemson was a fluke and that was one of his signature games. Plus, he sounded like a difficult guy.
Then the Spring Game was a total shite fest.

O is great at building up expectations then throwing down a litany of excuses when they aren’t met

Expectations were low last season, and we ended up being pretty good. If the team flops this season I will be totally cool with holding O accountable for it, but until that happens, some of y’all really need to shut the hell up. This team could be seriously good this year

I was. And you could clearly tell when O put the brakes on the offense.

Joe Brady is a legit coordinator with experience in one of the most prolific offensive systems in the history of the NFL. This isn’t a flash in the pan. You’re talking about records.

I don’t seriously expect Burrow to come out an win the Heisman this year. That’s insane. But I’d expect more flow and rhythm. I’d expect to see a lot of people touch the ball, which is one of the pillars of a Sean Payton offense.

I just want a competitive offense. Doesn’t have to be world beaters, but I don’t want to have to hope our defense continues to play otherworldly just to stay in games.

And if that doesn’t happen. If you see flash and then turtle, you know O is going to meddle and we are what we always will be.

I was pretty excited. Everybody had lived through years of Les saying the offense was going to change. Then we get toss dive with 9 in the box the first play every season after 2011. I thought Canada would bring a spark and I think the fans were relatively desperate for something new.

Did not even matter to me. We had a below average QB and A below average offensive line. Once we saw his offense it was nothing to be excited about. Of course we were limited by personnel. I like the Brady situation better. Of course we have a much better QB situation. All depends on our line play. If the line is the same as last year we are 9 and 3.

Was Very Excited
but the offense (Ground Game)lost it's PHYSICAL SEC Like play...

Would've liked to see a 2nd year of it, ONLY BECAUSE it was the first time LSU has had Bama on their toes in a long time

but as a manager of a company
you cannot have someone "Undermining" the chain of command

The offensive line that pushed around Bama's d line?

The QB that was drafted to the NFL?

Those below average players?

I still think canada is a good OC. I feel had he been given the reigns and had burrow we’d definitely have had a better offense in 2018 than we did without him.

At the end of the day SE doesn’t out scheme good defenses. He’s scoreless in 8 qtrs vs bama.

Here's hoping O lets Brady coach and leaves the offense alone. It's not his strong point. Canada never really had a chance with O.

He's better than who we currently have as OC, sure.

The optimism has been high with every new hire. Remember Billy Gonzales? People thought that guy was bringing the Florida offense with him.
