Just not north tangi unless you buy a shite ton of land.

I live in South tangi and its not bad at all. Had to go to jury duty in Amite and that shite was super depressing.

What type of job did you find in hammond if you dont mind me asking?

Sales/consulting area from roughly Lake Charles to Mobile, wasn't locked into Hammond, but fits the logistics.

North Tangi is like South Beach compared to Greensburg

Living downtown hammond is a great spot. Walk to restaurants and parks, SLU games baseball and football, and if you get close enough to campus the Lab school is one of the better public schools in the state. The school goes distance to school and you have to be within prolly 2 miles unless you have minority status.

There's usually someone cooking some good food, a little live music and the beer is excellent.

You need to get a boat - beautiful rivers and lakes to explore in that area.

Let me give you some advice.

If the universe gives you an opportunity to go somewhere else, take it.

We get one shot at this life. One chance to leave our mark.

Many men before us lived and died walking the same stones. But there are more stones to walk. Travel, get away from what you know when you are young. See this bounty of a world we don’t really know of.

Let this step take you to the next step to the next step until one day you find yourself in a foreign land and the call of home sings out like a siren song. Then go back. Go back with a wealth of experiences under your belt and hopefully an adventures worth of coin in your pocket.

Or else you’ll get old. The chances for wanderlust will pass you by. And you might raise something in the ancestral soil but you’ll forever be haunted by that faint glimmer of what might have been.

So start your journey while you have the chance because it’s gone in the blink of an eye,

Man, it's been a while since I've done that. I need to make plans with the gf one weekend.

There's also Low Road Brewery which is on CM Fagan is up and coming. Not on the level that Gnarly Barley has but it's getting there. Their brews aren't bad at all, I'll hit them up and get a couple growlers filled every so often.

Seriously you could live in any direction 30-40 miles approximately and have a very reasonable commute

We're talking about the same interstate system that is a daily topic of OT entertainment, right?

We don't need anymore NOLA trash migrating to the NS. Your people are the reason crime went up after Katrina.

frick off.

The trash you're referring to is from Chalmette, not Nola.

I grew up in Mandeville and live in Uptown now. You can have your clusterf*ck traffic on 22 and 190 and nonexistent nightlife/entertainment over there. Yea, its safer but I'll take my chances to continue enjoying the endless entertainment options and world class restaurants with my 10 minute commute to downtown. Lived here for a decade now, zero times have I been the victim of crime.
