They are far from a mega church. Also, they legitimately do a lot of good for the community. I've met them, I really like the Hankins.
Dont know why they need a jet. Are you sure it's not for the father, who is a traveling evangelist I believe.

The church originally was ran by the father, who moved on to do traveling and writing and left it to his son. The father travels a lot and such.
Knowing the church, I doubt that those pastors got that plane for themselves. It would make more sense that the plane belongs to the "Church Organization " and they just use it.
I could be wrong. I can personally say that attending their church helped me when I was in a horrible place in my life. Pastor Hankins took a personal interest in me and the men I met there helped me grow. It's a good church and I believe them to be good people.

To be fair, you can get an older Citation like that for fairly reasonable and IIRC they are single pilot operators so they are less expensive to operate than a lot of jets.
