A few years ago he was asking for money for his second jet and if I remember correctly ..... a G2..

I see doctors driving Ferrari’s all the time

I always wonder about that. There's 3 in Monroe/West Monroe area that drive those.

Even if they take home $1m per year, spending that kind of money for an auto seems like a big chunk.
I guess they finance which would kinda kill the pleasure for me.

If you make $100k a year and buy a $30k car that's the same as making $1mil a year and buying a $300k car.

After doing it for 12-15 years I’m sure you damn near have everything else. Tons of people down here on the coast have Ferrari+ priced boats.

They probably just lease them for a couple thousand a month.

When you think about it, not much difference from a preacher and a head doctor. Except preachers treat hundreds if not thousands of people at a time.

Both scenarios people spend about an hour a week having someone work through their shite and make them feel better.

And write it off. My Dr friend went through a shite ton of leases. You don’t want to try and trade in a $140k car three years after you buy it...at least in the lease they have to take it back.

Ferrari's are an interesting financial conundrum, especially the 8 cylinder MR versions. The multi-year wait list sets up a situation where IF you have enough grace with FNA and can buy them from the dealer near retail you can buy them drive them for a year (roughly 3k is average) and sell them for enough over what you paid to cover all the expenses and have driven it for free at the worst.

I’m sure God told him to buy the plane

God probably didn't tell him to buy the plane; it was a common-sense necessity.

You see, he communes with the Lord on flights since it's higher up toward Heaven; it helps to hear God. And booking all those flights, the costs sky-rocket. I'm sure it'll be a cost savings in the long-term.

And finally, when you start speaking in tongues on a commercial fight and say you're talking to God, things get really weird these days.

Weak.

Anyone buying a light business jet and not buying a Pilatus P12 or TBM900 are idiots and question their business acumen.

If they bought a G5/650/equivalent then I'd say they raking

They quit producing Cessna Citation IIIs in 1992, average used price seems to be around around $600K.

LINK

The church also probably leases it for charters when the church is not using it.
