Are the boosters who front all of this money getting nervous?

I'm not sure what the legal ramifications are for boosters that have been caught paying players, but assuming there are some...surely they are a little nervous and most likely upset about how poorly the LSU coaching staff has handled this? IF LSU did in fact pay players (wink wink), I would assume it is going to be pretty hard for Wade and his team to get the funding they need to buy next year's team.
What are the potential legal ramifications for boosters convicted of paying players to attend a university? Again, this is assuming that LSU, or any university for that matter, actually paid a player or player's "handler".

Read Godfrey’s bag man article. The 300k number is fiction and hilarious.

Doesn’t matter. Alleva is gone.

None. It's not illegal to pay players it's just against NCAA rules, therefore they can't be convicted to begin with.

probably not three times as much as the rate for Zion

There you go. That's what I was not sure of. I assume the money will still be attainable then.

Well if all of the teams that have been mentioned as paying players across multiple sports get popped, the LSU basketball team won't be the only one. SEC football would have a big shakeup.

Nike puts up most of the money for college basketball players. Nike gives LSU coaches money, to get the best athletes to a Nike school. At this point the kid is signed to wear Nike in college and pros. A good deal for Nike and the athletes. Just not okay by NCAA.

I asked where the money came from, or would come and was downvoted into oblivion with no explanation.
So I guess this is just a question we shouldn't ask?

dude there is nothing to worry about the money isn't coming from boosters, it is coming from sponsors so there shouldn't be any paper trail.

I gave a former LSU baseball player gas money back in 1992. The NCAA can come at me Bro.
