Question for the Conservatives on M/TV board

I realize that the entire purpose of this board is discussion of TV and movies that we all like.
But does the heavy leftist lean in entertainment ever bother you? I'm honestly asking, not trying to stir the pot.
I personally try to reconcile with the fact that while the media I enjoy is stuffed with leftist pandering, I simply try to focus on what matters to.
That being the plot of the stories and the character arcs. What about you?

Usually it doesn’t bother me

No, because if I don't like something, I just don't watch it instead of getting upset.

Volod please. There was a short amount of time where you were a decent poster. A very short amount of time

Unless the whole movie is geared towards pushing some political message ...like that Denzel movie where he held the ER hostage ...then I don’t care.
Once you accept the reality that most actors are idiots with very little real world practical knowledge...what they say shouldn’t bother you.
I just recently saw Captain Marvel and actually thought it was really good. Having her being a strong female lead succeeding and always fighting in what really is a male dominated field wasn’t really any different than Cap being a little guy and always fighting to succeed against bigger guys laughing at him. It’s the hero trope.
The only drag was Brie’s wooden delivery.

It doesn't really bother me much.
I just get irked that directors get blatant with it as if they're paid for their opinion on social/political matters, instead of making something fictional that we eat popcorn to.

Only when it’s obviously shoehorned or preached excessively I guess. I’m not even that conservative as much I find the sky screaming (sometime from the conservative side as well but usually the ultra progs) to be annoying and often unnecessary considering the relatively affluent and overwhelmingly safe period of history we are currently living in.

It doesn't trigger me as much as comic book movies do

Well ya. That's the whole reason the SJW/sky screaming outrage culture even exists.
It's hard to be outraged over misgendering or cultural appropriation when you're too occupied with figuring out how you're going to feed your family.
The entire SJW movement is the ultimate First World Problem.

I’m just not interested in a lot of the movies they make these days. Elysium is a good example, it’s a genre I really like, but the premise doesn’t work for me.

I'm trying to think of the last time I was excited about an upcoming movie, and I'm really drawing a blank. I get more excited about tv shows these days

I watch tv/movies for the entertainment and can separate the actor’s politic leanings. Politics has a place, just like entertainment has a place, but I can keep them separate.
Some groups (sjw’s for example) can’t separate the two, and tend to lead miserable lives because they can’t enjoy things without interjecting politics into otherwise non-political events.

Yes, but I'm older and don't get excited for movies anymore.

One of my groomsmen is a writer. He's been working for Danny McBride and Jody Hill at Rough House on Eastbound and Down, Chozen, and Vice Principals. Now he and another guy are signed on with FX to write a show about SJW cheerleaders at a small college, they're working on the pilot right now. Hopefully FX goes with it, it should be pretty funny

Volod, you're basically the walking, black OWEO. Yall are such terrible posters

The only thing about it that kind of irks me is when they remake something, but have to SJW it all up.
