Nice to see the honest scoring for UCLA. Gives me hope for tomorrow. With a decent beam score, we beat them today.

Edney was probably one of the biggest keys today. She did not warm up well on multiple events. Floor in particular, she had an awful warm up but when it came time to hit, she drilled.

All that matters is we put ourselves in a position to win a title tomorrow. We open on vault, olympic order is a very comfortable rotation order.

LSU has some decision making with floor tomorrow. I do not trust Desiderio. She needs some changes this offseason.

It is bullshite that this thread did not receive a sticky. Hopefully a team competing for a NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP could at least get that.

These girls are incredible! I can’t imagine the pressure! I’m still shaking. I don’t know how they do what they do!

I would definitely go Campbell and Lexie on floor tomorrow over Christina.

In the past, there were 6 teams in the national championship

New postseason format is different, limits it down to 4 teams, so no byes during the championship.

Previous to this year there were to sessiond of six teams each on Friday. The top three from each session advanced to the Super Six finals on Saturday.

It has been changed to similar to basketbqall with four regionals which advanced 8 teams . They compete in two sessions as LSU did today and the top two from each session makes up the Final Four on the Floor as it is called..

I keep seeing people say Desiderio is out of shape? Do you mean weight wise? Or just training in general?

I'll just say its not the training

Downvote away its the truth. She is certainly a talented girl. She is gifted and is capable of so much more.

What about Edwards on floor? Reagan before her? I'll be surprised to see Christina on floor tomorrow.

I hope OU falls on every event later and doesn't advance (no injuries of course)

I’m interested to see the scoring tonight. Felt very tight all around today.

Is OU the favorite to win again this year. I feel like LSU will finish third this time.

Next one is at 6

I’ve watched OU all year. Very good team but no where near where the scores they have gotten. They have been insanely over scored all year! The Judges is Norman are not realistic at all.

IMO UCLA is better than OU but the judging has had its bias over the years and most certainly this season!

Oklahoma has had the most outrageous scoring this year. I’m very curious if it continues tonight. I was pleasantly surprised with how UCLA was scored. I think LSU got hit a few spots here and there but overall it seemed they judged all teams with the same rules. Hopefully that continues. It would be nice for all 4 teams in the final to actually have a chance instead of watching UCLA and OU make small mistakes for 9.9+ while the other two teams make those same small mistakes for a 9.8

How are judges assigned? Do they travel all over the country to judge, or is every team judged by the same judges every week? Like did we ever have the same judges that judged UCLA or OU? Hope that makes sense.

I’ve thought UCLA was better all year as well. But they even got some outrageous scoring most of the year.

Ohashi’s NQS on floor is 10. Which is absurd.

Scoring seems to be slightly looser but not by much
