If a WNBA player gets hurt and no one watches, does anyone give a shite?

I don’t wish harm upon them but goddamn the WNBA is worthless.

They don’t bring in any money but goddamn they bring headlines because a bunch of black lesbians don’t want to stand for the anthem because of “police brutality”.

THey do this all the time.

Thomas signs with Pats.
Smith gets in altercation.

If you can't name the sport someone is MVP in then obviously it isn't a sport you care about so why click the link in the first place?

The only reason I knew is it came up as a Twitter trending thing with people claiming this a sign WNBA players deserve fair pay. The woman got hurt playing overseas in the off-season. A group of people were claiming that it's not right that she only makes $54,000 and has to play overseas to feed her family. I agree. It's so unfair that she only makes $54k in 4 months and has to play a game the other six months to make sure her family has enough ramen noodles to make it.

Actually the WNBA is the offseason. These girls make more in Europe than in WNBA

Yeah I saw that. The few people fussing about "fair pay" were basically eviscerated in the comments.

It is a brutal 34 game regular season in the WNBA.

I wonder why they don't play more games so that the players can be paid more. Wouldn't more games mean more revenue from attendance and TV?

Wait. Unless...

It’s the chick from UConn

I don’t watch women’s basketball but it’s literally the only person they ever talked about across all networks when she was in school
