That turned out great, looks nice and substantial.

That's some fine woodworking there, very nice.

Is that a drawer for something? I like the finger joints that go into the knot, that would look awesome filled with epoxy.

It is actually just a box. I purchased an Incra jig and this was part of my calibration. I purposely included the knot. The jig worked flawless through the knot v

That’s an interesting idea, I’ll try out the epoxy.

Here’s a little bench I’m working on. Just need to cut the mortises and tenons to put the legs on the top and then I will do a mortise and tenon crossbrace between the legs also.

I built this vanity from scratch because I couldn’t find one we liked when I redid this bathroom.

Any tips or recommendations on centering a router bit in the table and on the fence?

Never really had a problem with that. Always came out centered in the base hole once I mounted the router to the plate. And I don’t think it matters if it’s perfect center in the fence.

Anyone know of any local (Baton Rouge) places that sell 4" dust collection flex hoses?

Building a box stand for the hunting lease right now. Should be done and up this weekend. Also building a boat cover but no pics.

What method did you use to "bowl" it out?

Took some chunks out with 1.25” drill bit then used angle grinder with chainsaw disc attachment and then very course discs down to smooth.

You can get the chainsaw looking discs from harbor freight or they have some more expensive versions online.

Just about finished on my bed. Hopefully I’ll have it done and put together in my house by the end of the weekend.
