I had a mullet, then a perm, then a braided rat tail. Rat tail was long and behind my ear. Kinda like Thompson Twins.

So jealous! My sister had an 80s perm with bangs. I wanted a perm in the early 90s, but my mom wouldn’t let me because I had naturally curly hair. I wanted TIGHT curls. Like a spiral perm. The crunchy perm look was popular when I was in middle school.
