I'm an outsider and was obviously not at 07 UF but I think you are doing a major disservice to what 03 uga meant to lsu's football program as a whole.

Sure I know about the stanford announcement and the 4th downs and yadda yadda. But LSU won a title in 03, was good in 04/05, won a BCS bowl in 06, and was ranked 2nd in the country at the time of the 07 UF game. Winning was old hat at that point. It was the opposite in 2003. Outside of a minor miracle in the 01 SECCG LSU wasn'a all that successful at the time and certainly wasn't a factor to america's overall football conscious and hadn't been since what...the late 80s? Maybe mid 90s? The 03 UGA game essentially put LSU football back on the map and made your fans have that belief again that you shoudl win every game.

There is no 07 UF without 03 UGA.

Georgia ‘03
There have been many memorable LSU games I have attended but what set this one apart is how electric the atmosphere was considering it was a day game. Tiger stadium is known for the night games, but this one was louder than any night game I’ve been to. You could feel the excitement grow through your the game.
The thing that is most memorable is that we had been an average team for a long time, but during that game, there was a moment when something just felt different. Like we had turned the corner and there will be a decade of greatness to follow. I feel like it all started that day.

Georgia 03 had a particular feeling to it live that I have not felt at any other game.

Ill never forget UGA fans walking up to me on the way out and telling how incredible the atmosphere was and that they wished they could play us every year.

Best LSU I have ever been to and I have been to tons.

Na, it beats it in my mind.

O3 UGA was officially us telling the world we had arrived as a power.

The OP's topic is best LSU football game you have ever attended. Not turning point of the program. Not most important. Best Game.

I attended both games and I was a fan through the 90s. I got on my knees and prayed a handful of times during 07 UF. It was an epic game with legendary college players and coaches on both sides (Tebow, Percy Harvin, Dorsey, Hester, Chad Jones). I rewatched highlights of the game for weeks after. I doubt I will ever attend a BETTER GAME.

Home v Florida 07 (Flynn, Hester, Tebow crying, Stanford/USC score announced)

Away v Alabama 11 (Game of the Century hype, Reid pick, walk off FG, Tiger Band marching through T-town after the game)

LSU beat Clemson in the Sugar Bowl game on Jan 1, 1959 claiming our first NC.

Only score we had after Billy Cannon completed a TD pass to Mangham. What a game!

Easily the USC 1979 game, and I was super young.

The closest atmosphere to that game I've encountered was the NFC championship in 2010. But that's probably not even a fair comparison.

If I had a time machine I think I'd rather see the 1970 Notre Dame game, instead of the 1971 ND game.

I was a teenager.. Florida 97.

From 1997- 2003 I attended every home game so I have been to a few that I would consider "the best". After 2003 I still went to games, but not every home game.

The worst for me was Arkansas 07. The Arkansas game that went into OT and we lost. Darren McFadden's famous "We got that wood"..

It Friday after Thanksgiving, cold (I remember people saying it wasn't that bad in the sun, but we sat in shade the whole game).

It was awesome. Best game, even though we "lost."
