My first game, Colorado in '73 I believe. 42-14. I was hooked. Otherwise 2010 vs. Bama. Jarrett Lee bailed JJ out. That was a great game for me.

2003 Georgia doesn't even come close to 2007 Florida...come on man. I will never forget when they announced that USC lost in the middle of the 4th quarter during "the drive." We knew if we scored we would be #1. 4 fourth down conversions later...

2003 Georgia might have been just as good because that’s when many people realized that LSU had arrived as a national powerhouse. The sleeping giant officially woke up.

1. Nov. 21, 1970: Notre Dame 3, LSU 0

One of the more underrated great games in Notre Dame Stadium annals, a slugfest won by the No. 2 Irish over No. 7 LSU, thereby earning the Irish a shot to play No. 1 Texas in the Cotton Bowl. Scott Hempel’s 24-yard field goal with 2:54 left in the contest was the difference.

It would have to be Notre Dame's first visit to Tiger Stadium in 1971. I was on my recruiting visit to LSU, and Brad Davis was my host. Great weekend.

It was the first time I met Tommy Casanova and others. Met Art Cantrell when he was getting taped before the game and was surprised at how high his voice was. I had already heard the stories about him, so I was a little nervous just meeting him.

The game was legendary, and I remember Pop Strange, director of recruiting, herding all of us recruits into the chute to protect us from the students climbing over the walls.

Campus was crazy all night, and we hit several wild fraternity parties. Back at Broussard Hall, I was talking to Mike Miley, and he had a strange mark on his forehead. Turns out he had been in a fight after the game, and the mark was the imprint of a frat boy's ring.

It’s a tie between 2007 LSU Florida game, 1988 LSU Auburn game, and the 1982 LSU Florida State game. All three games were special for different reasons.

Late to the party...

Notre Dame '71

It was incredible. Tiger Stadium held 67,500. We were all screaming at the top of our lungs the whole game.

No one left at halftime because we could drink likker and smoke cigarettes in the stands like civilized humans do. Personally, it was Manhattens and Kools.

Ole miss in 06, saw our overtime game winning field goal come down right in front of me as I was seated in that end zone. Final score 23-20.

Lots of celebratory fornication, all over BR, that night . . .
