Another group text discussion. Majority said no. I personally can’t fathom starting the day and leaving your bed a mess. If you don’t make your bed, odds are other parts of your home are sloppy, and you yourself probably have a sloppy appearance. The only two of us that made our bed consistently were the only two that exercise regularly.

50/50. Usually it isn't first thing in the morning though.

Wake up too early some days for that BS.

No, but my wife does.

If she leaves before I get up, the bed does not get made.

I don't thing the two are directly related.

I sleep standing up, one of the many advantages of this is no bed to make.

No I wake up before the wife. She wouldn’t like it much if I made the bed with her in it.

Same. My wife doesn't get up until about an hour after I leave. She doesn't make it either though.

I get up first in the house every day, and make my half of the bed before leaving the room. The wife never makes her half. Yes, you could say that it looks odd in the afternoon, but I can't leave the room without making up where I sleep. Just how I was brought up.

Women's work just doesn't get done anymore unless a man or a maid does it.
