Just ate a hamburger steak piled wiith onions and mushrooms.
Mashed potatoes and gravy.
Steamed brocolli.
It got me thinking that I could eat this every day and not get tired of it. I make it atleast once every couple weeks.
What say the FDB?

Chicken and sausage gumbo, beef tips and rice and gravy, pork roast with sausage and rice and gravy. Whichever one I am eating at the moment is my favorite comfort food.

Liver and onions..
Maybe I just haven’t had the right liver and onions but i don’t get the appeal. My grandfather absolutely loved them (he was a sugarcane farmer and raised cattle).
Maybe I’m too young(31)

My favorite comfort food for half of my life was the hamburger steak with onions, mashed potatoes, and roast beef gravy at Tony’s in Chalmette. A sloppy roast beef poboy from Tony’s was a front runner too. When Tony’s closed, a little part of me died. I’ve never found another hamburger steak or roast beef poboy that even comes close to Tony’s.
