Michaels Seafood prices and quality are hard to beat

Call Bevi Airline to see their price. Usually very good size relative to others. Price varies, but we are still in Lent so everyone is going to be expensive.

Usually get most of my seafood from Schaefer's on Lake Ave. but haven't bought any crawfish by the sack this year. I always wait until after Easter and they get done with the price gouging during Lent.

Michael's on Jefferson has the cheapest crawfish in a 50-mile radius, according to the Crawfish App.

Schaefer's on Lake Avenue. I paid $2.85.
I had Dennis' last Friday. Very very dirty and same price.

I love boiled crawfish as much as the next guy, but at the price they are charging by the sack, it is much more economical to just buy shrimp and boil them.
Most estimates call for about 5 lbs. of crawfish per person for a nice boil, but with shrimp, you only need about 1.5 lbs. per person, and they don't have to be live when they are boiled, so they are easier all around. You could easily feed 30 people with 50 lbs. of shrimp, whereas crawfish would need to be in the 150 lb. range.
Just go buy some fresh shrimp and boil them at your leisure.
